STEM Programs for Underserved Students
The iSpace mission is to ignite passion for Science and Technology to prepare all learners to thrive in tomorrow’s workforce. iSpace does this through inquiry-based, authentic STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs for students of all ages that inspire them in STEM, introduce them to STEM Careers, and give them experience in many of the "soft skills" needed for success in today's workforce: teamwork, problem solving, and logical thinking. iSpace strives to remove barriers and special effort is made to provide opportunities for underserved students. A Dater grant helped to provide low cost or free programming to the very students who will benefit the most. The “150 Classes” program was able to provide immersive STEM programming to 156 classes from underserved schools.
