Maintaining Inclusive Horsemanship Through and Post Covid-19
As the region’s only Path, Intl. Premier Accredited Center, Cincinnati Therapeutic Riding and Horsemanship is committed to improving the lives of individuals impacted by disabilities and unique challenges through equine assisted services (formally equine assisted activities and therapies). With the support of a Dater Foundation grant, CTRH served 7,500+ people of all ages, all socio-economic statuses and all abilities throughout greater Cincinnati. Services included: adaptive recreational riding, family fun with horses, group field trips and visits, hippotherapy (occupational/physical therapy utilizing equine movement), miniature horse therapy outreach, miniature horse therapy outreach for hospice, social and emotional enrichment workshops, Special Olympics equestrian games for Clermont County, Ohio and summer camps for current riders.
