Education and Community Engagement Program
Support by the Charles H. Dater Foundation allowed the CCO’s community engagement and educational outreach program to offer over 200 free services throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. Due to the pandemic many projects, including the partnership with MYCincinnati, were either streamed live via ZOOM or recorded for later broadcast on YouTube. The CCO partnered with the Cincinnati Art Museum for their Sensory Saturday program; with Madcap Puppets for a children’s program at Westwood Town Hall Park and downtown’s Smale Park. CCO Ensembles also offered educational programs at Tristate libraries; Winton Woods Primary North in Fairfield; the Ronald McDonald House; Cincinnati Childrens Hospital; and performed free programs at the Cincinnati Nature Center; at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown during Memorial Day weekend; at free community dinners at City Gospel Mission and CAIN Ministries in Northside; and at Ault Park as part of the July 4th celebrations.
