Service Learning Program
Children, Inc. is a multi-faceted human services organization with a 40-year history of supporting families in achieving their dreams and nurturing their children for school and life success. The Children, Inc. Service Learning Program supports the work of K-12 teachers in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati in the encouragement, promotion and development of meaningful service-learning experiences for their students at no cost. In conjunction with teachers, administrators and community partners students are empowered to contribute to their community through acts of service. In the 2017-18 school year over 12,000 students completed nearly 160 service learning projects at 52 schools. Service learning helps to build the next generation of philanthropists and gives students the opportunity to positively impact their community.
