Ronald McDonald House offers a community of compassion support and the comforts of home to over 2,000 families with critically ill children, steps away from the medical care they need. The House is fortunate to have a dedicated space in which to entertain the children and families who live with us during a very difficult time. The Charles H. Dater Children’s Theatre is home to hundreds of performances every year, hosting plays, puppet shows, magic shows, story time and much more. With the House’s expansion to accommodate 99 additional families (for a total of 177 families per night), as well as the redesigning of office and common spaces. As part of the renovation and expansion, the Dater Foundation committed support to refresh the Charles H. Dater Children’s Theatre where so many programs and activities take place each year.
