The Ticket, Transportation & Artists on Tour Subsidy Fund
The Ticket, Transportation & Artists on Tour Subsidy Fund provides direct support to schools to bring students to performances at the Aronoff Center or present performances by local artists in their own building. Schools complete a simple two-page application submitted electronically and receive a reply within ten working days. The award criterion is based on the percentage of students receiving free or reduced lunch and is on a sliding scale allotting more funds as a percentage of students in need increases. CAA likes for all schools to pay a token ticket fee to attach value to the arts programs. The SchoolTime ticket price is $7.00 with the average ticket cost at $3.35. The cost of an Artists on Tour program ranges from $85 to $600 and grants cover 50-90% of the cost.
