Diaper Distribution Program Expansion
Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank (SCDB) partners with 34 social service agencies in the Greater Cincinnati area to provide free diapers to approximately 2,000 low-income families while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers. A Dater grant supported SCDB’s Program Manager, who coordinates agency partnerships, fills agency diaper orders, controls diaper inventory, coordinates and leads volunteer groups, and manages all survey data regarding outcomes. SCDB distributed 782,445 diapers in 2018, increased monthly diaper distribution by 20%, saw a 54% increase in partner agency relationships, and a 64% increase in volunteer hours.
